History

New York Private School Consultants was founded by two brothers who attended Horace Mann School from preschool to high school. At Harvard and Columbia, Jonas and Max both developed a close interest in childhood education and formed New York Private School Consultants to help families successfully navigate the New York private school admissions process. Beginning with comprehensive research into child literacy and learning, New York Private School Consultants has developed an admissions program carefully designed to optimize the admissions rate of our clients. It is the combination of experience, nuanced perspective, client dedication, and active training that makes the firm a truly holistic solution for our clients.

Max Mets

A graduate of Horace Mann School, Max formed New York Private School Consultants to provide dedicated families the tools and guidance necessary to successfully navigate New York’s private school admissions process. Leveraging his own experience as a Horace Mann graduate and his wide network of educational consultants, New York Private School Consultants offers a comprehensive advisory, tutoring, and training package to best position families for admission. Prior to founding New York Private School Consultants, Max worked in Finance as an alternative energy investor. Max holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Columbia College.

Jonas graduated from Horace Mann and has studied the admissions process at premier educational institutions in the New York and London metropolitan areas. Prior to co-founding New York Private School Consultants, Jonas worked as a strategic growth advisor to media and entertainment companies throughout the United States. Jonas holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard College.
